Dear Lovers of Truth,
We welcome you and everyone from the Journey Community for a special Christmas Gathering on Saturday, 8 December, 5pm (please arrive around 4.45pm).
We will celebrate this special month by coming together and share in meditation, singing and sharing a meal together afterwards (please bring a plate of yummies to share).
This will be our Christmas Chanting Gathering which means that we'll have our usual Chanting Satsang followed by a get together.
This is Deva's definition of Chanting Satsang:
'Satsang, translated from Sanskrit means “Meeting (Sangha) in truth (Sat)” and it can be enjoyed in so many ways. We have found that a one hour silent meditation which includes music and chanting is a blissful door into our own inner sanctuary. The music and chanting help to deepen the silence, no effort is needed, and Satsang happens by itself.'
Do not worry if you think you cannot sing - you're welcome to enjoy the music by listening, if you prefer!
So for this time please bring your cushion and a plate of yummies.
